My favorite part of the announcements this week was from Tuesday's learning by heart post. I am a huge Game of Thrones fan so the graphic stood out to me.
If I could sum myself up in one word, it would have to be clumsy! I once dislocated my knee while watching a movie and I have sprained my ankle quite a few times from falling down the stairs or just tripping over air. I tried reading out loud to my dog Leo and it allowed me to imagine the scene and setting a lot more vividly. Since I read a lot more slowly out loud than in my head, I took up more time reading than I normally do. I do enjoy reading out loud because there is more emotion coming from the story and I take the time to enjoy the story rather than reading to just finish reading. The disadvantage is that I read a lot slower out loud but I will try reading out loud when I have time. Reading out loud: English Harmony
